Presentation box containing 2 x 375ml bottles of wine (1 x red, 1 x white), produced by Vini Srimaglio in the Piemonte region of Italy to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Alfa Romeo. The bottles bear the iconic Alfa Romeo emblem set into a relief-moulded representation of the famous grille (based on that of the GT model). These bottles were purchased by myself directly from the vineyard's outlet at the centenary event at the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese in June 2010. Since returning home a few days after purchase, they have been stored on their side in a cool, dark environment. Whether the wine inside is still drinkable, I don't know but it really would be 'sacrilege' to open these beautiful display items anyway!
