Gorgeous and unused tank watch by the Pierpont Watch Company. This company has been founded a century ago by Sauter & Freres, and as with many Swiss watch makers, they got bankrupt at the beginning of the quartz crisis. This is a gorgeous and unused 3 x 2 cm tank model, which measures 45 mm including the hinging lugs, and thus it looks rather large. The case is in excellent condition and all case lines are well conserved. The two-tone dial is gorgeous and reacts beautifully when the light comes in from different angles. A decentral second hand can be found at 6 o'clock and the watch features radium-filled arabic hour markers. Furthermore, it has the beautiful blue hands which are still equipped with the original radium. The watch still has an original laid-on glass in undamaged condition, which is relatively rare. Furthermore, the movement has been fully disassembled, cleaned and serviced. Now it's good to go for years again. Finally, the clasp features a new black leather strap that is folded around the solid lugs. The watch will be packaged with the utmost care and shipped to the new owner by registered post.
