Description: Black glass Art Deco vase made by Michel Herman (HEM) from the Czech Republic in the 1920s. The vase has a hand-painted decor of a fish with some golden lines in the background representing seaweed (see photos). The vase is also decorated with some seaweed at the back. The vase is not marked, which is probably because the brand is over polished. The model of this vase and the decor of the fish are both known as designs by Michel Herman. Dimensions: Length: 17 cm Width: 5.5 cm Height: 16 cm Weight: approx. 600 grams Condition: The paint has some wear due to old age in a number of places (see photos). Otherwise the vase is intact.
