Very well preserved, only the small piece from her hand broken, and a small part of the flower on the floor, (can been seen in the pictures) otherwise no damage, and no repairs. Marked in an underglaze blue sign Älteste Thüringen Porzellan Manufaktur 1762 around 1900- 1936 - another mark under nr. 10 the piece is number 516 or S16. Size/dimensions: height approx. 16 cm x 11 cm x 9 cm Founded in Rudolstadt in 1762, "Aelteste Volkstedter" is the oldest of the porcelain factories still producing in Thuringia. The foundation goes back to Georg Heinrich Macheleid, who in 1760 revealed the composition of the appropriate porcelain mass, "Arkanum". The ornate figures from the Aelteste Volkstedter porcelain factory enjoy a high reputation among lovers and today they obtain the highest prices in the antique trade.
