Outstanding large sizes 6-light chandelier, entirely handmade by a Murano master glassmaker. Dating: 1920/30.Materials: Murano clear and stained glass and vitreous paste. Extraordinarily bright, undamaged and complete chandelier. With a two-level body rich in refined decorative elements. FIRST LEVEL - 6 Arms, each with a candle holder and a removable bobeche. Each arm is embellished with a light blue ring. - 6 Clear and light blue leave, all bending downwards. - 6 Clear leaves with a red edge, all pointing upwards, each with an elegant light blue pendant on the tip. SECOND LEVEL - 6 Flowers in coloured vitreous paste, all bending downwards. - 6 Flowers in coloured vitreous paste, all pointing upwards. Column, balls and finial are in clear glass with finishes in red and light blue. Length: 90 cm. Diameter: 80 cm. The electrical wires have been replaced and the chandelier is in perfect working order. Please, note that this is a quite old item and the wires extend passing outside the arms (on their upper part, as shown by pictures). The aluminium bushings on the arms have been replaced, while the others are made in iron and are still in place (please, see the last pictures). Its only flaws - which is barely visible wen the chandelier is in place - is a chip in the connecting element between the main cup and the finial (last picture). Recently cleaned up.
