“Maternità” is a work painted by Picasso in 1922. This is a beautiful d’après multiple, published in 1990 by Studio d’Arte Perna, Milan, made on 22-carat gold leaf applied on laminated support and then printed through lithography with hand press.
Unique edition of 900 copies numbered in Arabic numerals 1/900 + 30 out of stock copies (the print proofs) marked as H.C.
This is the no. 440/900 with embossed stamp of the publisher on the certificate of guarantee.
In the photos you will also find the original certificate of guarantee and the notarial document as guarantee of the edition.
The price to the public in the 1980s was 450,000 Lire, about €225.00, but 30 years ago!
The origin is DIRECT, since my name is Alessandro PERNA and I am THE PUBLISHER’S SON.
