A particularly nice quality clock from Berger & Wuerker Leipzig (B.W.L.)
The B.W.L. logo was registered in 1912.
BWL: Berger & Wuerker, Liepzig (Germany) was a famous manufacturer of grandfather clocks, chimney clocks and wall clocks. Characteristic were the very solid cogs.
At the time, these clocks were only sold by the better jeweller’s /clock dealerships. This copy was sold by E. Baumer in Deventer, the Netherlands. The clock is in a nice condition with slight wear marks at the black sides, matches the age and not disturbing.
