Decorative tin dish with the image of a resting lady surrounded by roses. The dish has the mark of Kurz Edeltin at the bottom. This particular mark indicates sand cast tin (95%). Dimensions: 25 x 18 x 9 cm. Weight: 0.5 kg. The company Kurz Edeltin was founded in 1896 by Coen Kurz and started as a metalworking company. As of 1960 one completely switched to the artisanal production of nostalgic tin objects such as jars and jugs. In 1984 the tin-branch was taken over by the tin foundry from De Bilt. Together with the acquisition of a few more tin companies at that time the largest tinsmith in the Netherlands. In 1987 the company moved to Zeist, where it is still located on the J. v.
