Privately owned. Up for auction is a very rare, vintage Longines Diver, ref. 8248-1, from the late '60s, in excellent overall condition. Beautiful monobloc case in steel, measuring 38 mm (excluding crown), with original screw-down crown and bidirectional rotating bezel in bakelite. Swiss-made Longines mechanical movement, calibre 505 (derived from Record, trademark acquired by Longines a few years earlier), in working order, keeps time and charge well but I do not know the date of the last servicing, therefore I suggest having it serviced. It will be shipped with a Tropic rubber strap and a box, both from the same time period of the watch and characterised by a matching style.
