This is handcrafted using more than 30 different semi-precious gemstones from all over the world! This globe is built with the beautiful ornate, heavy brass stand into which the globe has been carefully mounted. Each country is inlaid with a different stone, and stones are individually cut and ground to interlocking shapes, polished and set. Elements of globe are created out of lapis, amethyst, African jade, tiger's eye, jasper, turquoise, purple quartz, onyx and many other beautiful stones.
