Beautiful 19th century copper carriage (foot) stove With hammered name: J.D. Saal This stove was used in ancient times as a foot warmer in a carriage. In the middle part with lid one put glowing coals while the feet were on the copper plate on both sides so that one got nice warm feet. The bottom is made of (oak) wood. In exceptionally good condition. Without flaws and/or repairs. The base plate measures 48 x 26 cm The total height incl. handle is 31 cm.
