A marvellous and extremely rare papier-mâché angel with glass eyes, second half of the 18th century. It is an object of impressive dimensions (height 52 cm) and fine craftsmanship. Shape, body posture and overall quality are just exceptional, as are the glass eyes, which are finished down to the irises details! It has been restored over time and it would need a slight clean-up and some colour touch-ups. It could be a museum-worthy piece. It is a rare and valuable piece overall. It comes from a Roman aristocratic family. It will be properly packed to prevent any damage during transport.
