Gamelan orchestra from Bali, carved in Art Deco style. This set is pre-war and carved at a time when Balinese carvings were at its peak under the influence of the many Western artists who stayed in Bali at the time. Good quality and finely carved. Gamelan orchestra - Indonesia, Bali - mid-20th century. The figurines are (presumably) carved from Teakwood. Reddish brown in colour. Dimension up to about 13 centimetres high.
