Beatiful wooden sculpture of a "Virgen dolorosa" from the first half of XIX Century. It is a virgin from Catalonia in the "cap i pota" style. an original piece that represents the Virgin seated in her pain, pity or loneliness. The statue is complete, it retains all its limbs. It is worth noting its beautiful expression. The piece is sold like this, although it is a virgin to be dressed. The state of conservation is good, it has some blemishes in the polychrome as a result of the passage of time. The Virgin is placed on a wooden base which is painted in the marble style. The height of the piece is 60 cm.
