Verkade & Comp - Plaatjesalbum no 1, 2 en 3 (Sprookjesalbums) - 1903/1905
These Verkade albums, which preceded their own publications Lente, Zomer, Herfst and Winter, contain picture cards that were purchased in Germany by the Verkade company and are known today as the ‘Sprookjesalbums’.
The albums are not entirely complete, but are largely filled.
Album 1: with 124 of the 133 picture cards.
Album 2: with 123 of the 140 picture cards.
Album 3: with 124 of the 144 picture cards.
All leaves are shown in the pictures.
Condition: Moderate to fair. Covers and spines are severely damaged, staples rusted. Occasional spots. The picture cards of album 2 are glued and not inserted.
