Glass vase in Art deco style, with enamelled painted decoration.
The subject is a snowy village with birds in flight and an imposing bare tree standing. Signed JEM.
This glassmaker was a pupil of Francois Thèodore Legras.
In 1916 his nephew, Charle Legras, took over the business. The hallmarks of the Legras glassware were therefore ‘Legras’ or ‘Sargel’, ‘Leg’, ‘JEM’ (as in this case).
In excellent condition.
