Pyrene is the brand for Classic Car Fire Extinguishers. This Chrome on Brass Pyrene Junior was made in 1961. Please see the picture of the manufacturing date on the label. The Junior version is the rarer variety on the larger Pyrene. This junior size is 26 cm long and 7 cm in diameter. This Junior is about half the size of the larger pyrene and would fit perfectly in any classic sportscar without taking up too much space! As you can see it is in very rare almost mint condition! Chrome very shiny and with very little patina! Very exeptional to find a pyrene in this condition let alone the Junior type! The black metal holder is original and has never been painted! This can be done easily if desired. I like to keep it original. This Pyrene is ready to be mounted in any classic luxury car in a collection or a museum or obviously as trophy in your own collection!
