The exhausts emerged for the first time from underneath the body instead of from the bodywork through the back panels. This C1 model was only manufactured for 2 years and only 14,531 units were delivered in 1962. The Corvette C1 is seen less and less often and is starting to become a rarity on the streets, certainly the sought after Tuxedo black version with a black interior. This car starts straight away, idles nicely, accelerates powerfully and shifts smoothly through all gears.
