Art Deco figure of a woman in a gracious, seated posture with one arm on her foot. Circa 1950s, carved by a master carver, possibly I Made Runda. The figure is in brilliant undamaged condition, not signed. I Made Runda specialized in making carvings of elongated women. His sculptures are carved in the late art-deco style and influenced by the Njana-Tilem school from Mas. The emphasis in his figures is on an ornate line in combination with a lean style.
