Giovanni Poggi was a master in this technique and made many designs with the use of it. These plates were made in the 1970s. Poggi is a famous ceramist from Italy and his work is collected.
He made many ceramic objects, however they are not easily found.
Both plates are in good condition. They have a 21 cm diameter. Each weighs 450 grams.
