No.6 plates by F.A.M.A. Ascoli Piceno, hand-painted with landscapes.
The "F.A.M.A." (Fabbrica Artigiana Maioliche Artistiche) was born in the 1930s in Ascoli Piceno thanks to some former employees of the "Matricardi" of Ascoli Piceno, including Nello Giovanili who also holds the position of director, Bellisario Galosi and Aldo Perugini.
Among the collaborators of the manufacture in the years after the Second World War, there were Mario Riga and the decorator Antonio Catini and, in the 1960s, the ceramist Benito Carbone.
From the workshops in via dei Fiori 2 came a production of tableware, furnishing objects and decorative majolica panels with a rustic, traditional and modern flavour.
The manufacture went out of business in 1977.
