A lovely instrument indicative of the Italian school with a great robust tone suitable for musicians of all calibers projects well and has a bright tone. The varnish is a golden reddish-brown amber color with a hint of orange yellow huge underneath. Top is a lovely high to medium grained spruce with lovely flued ‘f’ holes and deep purfling channels some damage on the treble bout due to playing by the bow strokes otherwise in immaculate condition.
