Ercole Barovier for Barovier & Toso, Murano - Vaso with lenses, 1940 ca. Heavy glass vase, series “Lenti” with pink “macie”, decorated with gold leaf and crystal glass appliqués. The vase has a crystal clear lobed foot, which is unusual for this series. This type of foot, however, is featured in other 1930s-40s models, such as “Autunno Gemmato” and “Rostrato.” This is likely a special piece, made for some special occasion.
