Instead of doing a complete copy of the Cartier Tank, the watch design team added their own touch to it by opting for a pair of svelte baton hands and craquelure dial. A gemstone of darker shade is also used for the crown instead of the sapphire cabochon gemstone that Cartier uses. The watch is unpolished and the dial has developed a craquelure/spider pattern highly sought after by collectors.
