Beautifully designed Art Deco vase model 'AMERICAIN', made by Val Saint Lambert and a design by Charles Graffart & Rene Delvenne. The Val Saint Lambert Luxval vase is made in the rare colour 'Améthyste'. This vase was produced in various sizes. Note: this is the larger size.
The vase is also listed in the Luxval catalogue of 1935 (see the images). The vase has various signs of wear. This doesn’t affect the decorative value.
It is also normal with the Luxval series that there are air bubbles and irregularities in the glass.
During the 1930s, Val Saint-Lambert ran a product line LUXVAL - from pressed decorative Art Deco glassware, made by the best designers Charles Graffart and Rene Delvenne of that time.
