Unique and very early MGB GT Coupé MK1 from 1967 in Tartan Red. This GT was originally delivered in Belgium in 1967, the 2nd owner in the Netherlands had it since 1973, they maintained and improved it in great detail whilst maintaining its characteristics and patina. Equipped with 5 unique GB Centre Lock rims with chrome hubs and very good tyres. This version is very rare and comes from the 1st series GT Coupes! Exterior: The colour is Tartan red, the paint is in very neat condition. The sheet metal has a very good fit and the rubbers were replaced. This MGB has 14" Centre Lock rims with chrome hubs and very good Uniroyal tyres with more than enough tread. The MGB GT has neat chrome bumpers, good chrome side strips, an antenna on the roof and original BGT badges on the boot lid. The chassis is sleek and neat and the brakes and suspension are perfect, they work well. Equipped with original chrome bumpers, chrome grille, original badges, chrome fuel cap, matching spare wheel with a hammer and wrench for the rims. This B GT is in very intact and neat condition! (restored between 2004 and 2015, see pictures). Interior: The interior features two original black leather seats with deep red piping. The seats are original from 1967 and have a nice patina, matching rear leather bench with a beautiful set of black carpets, neat black door cards and a sleek, neat headliner. The steel dashboard is original. Fitted with the original Smiths gauges and finished with chrome. The MGB is equipped with seat belts and has a wooden rally steering wheel in very good condition. It still has the original chrome ashtray, the original gearstick knob and speaker in the middle of the dashboard! The MGB also has a classic radio, tucked away under the passenger’s seat. Mechanics: It has the original 1798cc 4-cylinder engine with 98 BHP and the original, properly shifting gearbox. The carburettors were overhauled and equipped with two SU air filters, the MG has brake booster, new spark plug cables and spark plugs. A new windscreen washer reservoir has been fitted, the valve cover is made of gloss silver, the cooling hoses and cooling are new and flushed and all cylinders (clutch and brake) work perfectly. The mechanics were fully checked in our workshop and had a major maintenance service. The mechanics are perfect, with proper brake lines, brakes (front disc brakes). This MGB-GT is technically in very good condition and is a pleasure to drive! Details: A beautiful GT Coupé! An early series maintained down to the last detail.
