Necchi home sewing machine from the 1940s in very good working condition: the leather flywheel belt needs to be changed. Piece of furniture made of veneered beech wood with a side drawer. Handling with a cast iron pedal. Italian company founded at the end of the 19th century by Vittorio Necchi, son of Ambrogio, in via Vigentina (PV) in Lombardy. In 1932 it became the most imitated and sought-after sewing machine throughout the world. In 2003 Necchi closed down. On the top there's a label of a branch of Necchi in Padua, owned by Giovanni Zodo, which sold sewing machines in instalments. In the drawer you can still find the original Necchi case with different spare parts and tools that were necessary. You can see the serial number engraved on the cast iron base: 62828.
