exquisite Langama Buddha statues, three-headed and eight-armed Buddha statues
The statue is Ushnishavijaya (mother of all Buddhas). The victorious three-headed, ten-eyed, eight-armed Ushnishavijaya [Tibetan: གཙུག་གཏོར་རྣམ་རྒྱལ་མ།, - gtsug tor rnam rgyal ma] - this is the translation of her name - [Tib.: gTam.: gTam. by ugr trornal]s is an emanation of Buddha Vairochana. She is one of the three long-lived deities of the Tibetan Buddhist pantheon, along with Amitayus and White Tara. She is revered as the auspicious patroness of long life.
She is considered the guardian of Buddha's wisdom. According to its name, it is said to have its seat in the cranial excrescence [ushnisha] of the Buddha. This is why she is popularly called “the “mother of all Buddhas.” The left [blue] face of her three faces is full of anger.
In her upper right hand she carries a small Buddha. In front of her chest the goddess holds a double vajra [dorjee] and an arrow [sara]. His lower right hand shows the gesture of granting wishes [varada mudra]. Three of his four left hands hold the water vessel [kalasa], the noose [pasa] and a bow [capa]. The fourth left hand shows the gesture of protection [abhaya mudra].
