The origin of the pattern is associated with Count Albert Apponyi, for whom this simplified version of “ Fleurs des Indes” was first prepared in 1931. Each of Patty Pans is in excellent condition, with marvelous rose knob lid on each and gilded handles. This is an extremely rare set, made by Herend - Hungary, in order to dress up dining tables for special meals, meeting the expectations of the most pretentious ones.
