Founded by Louis Brandt in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1903, the company formerly operated as La Generale Watch Co. until incorporating the name Omega in 1903, becoming Louis Brandt et Frère-Omega Watch & Co. In 1984, the company officially changed its name to Omega SA and opened its museum in Biel/Bienne to the public. Britain's Royal Flying Corps used Omega watches in 1917 for its combat units, followed by the U.S. Army in 1918, and NASA in 1969 for Apollo 11. Chic Omega watch box (see pics), unfortunately not in such perfect condition as the watch itself. Excellent condition: never worn, comes from luxury watch-shop' showcase; every morning the watch was put on the stand in the shop window, every evening it was removed from the window. Therefore, the strap doesn't look like brand new from inside but no one wore the watch on their wrist, so squeamish buyers needn't worry. However, I added brand-new strap (see pics), you can replace if you want it although to my mind the original strap is perfect.
