1920's ~ 1930's four string open back banjo in a hard case. Signs of wear, rust and discolouration in places, crack to the top of a peg head. Hard case distressed, "British Made Pat.No 1653332" pressed on the lock, according to Table of Issue Years and Patent Numbers would date the case to 1928.
