The Seiko Macchina Sportiva chronograph was the product of a renewed collaboration between Seiko and Giugiaro Design for a new collection of four chronographs. Macchina Sportiva combines the unique high functionality of Seiko's leading calibers with Italian design. “macchina sportiva” means “sporty car” in Italian. On the outside of the oval-shaped case, there are three round pushers, a small crown at 4 o'clock, and a push-pull crown at 3 o'clock. The pushers at 2 and 10 o'clock control the chronograph, the small crown and the pusher at 8 o'clock control the alarm function. Tachymeter is on the Bezel The watch comes from my private collection. The watch has been serviced by battery replacement and case grinding cleaning.
