This is the RARE FIRST EDITION of the large and decorative "Kalendarium Juliano-Romanum" in original colour.
The cooper engraving was published by Franciscus Halma in Amsterdam in 1700.
Later Tobias Lotter reissued this copper engraving in the Atlas Novus, this is known as the second edition.
Dimensions: 59 x 55 cm (engravings), 61,5 x 57,5 cm (paper).
Reasonable condition, some parts brittle due to old verdigris oxidation, some small parts which have fallen out are restored. To maintain stability some reinforcements have been made. See also foto's of back side.
