Beautiful piece: the Taylor Solid Body Custom 2008 electric guitars (with beautiful pearl pick guard, with top-load bridge). Taylor electronics, Rosewood fretboard and chrome hardware. A blast to play en extremely comfortable.
Riding on the succes of the Taylor T5, Taylor introduced a solid body electric with no pretense to acoustic roots. The Taylor Solid Body combined elements of Fenders and Gibsons into an original design. Taylor developed and made its own hardware and pickups, and devised design solutions, such as a hardwood top inset into the body rather than glued on as a slab. The guitars were very successful between 2006-2013.
