VEB - Peter Ghyczy - 椅子 (2) - 花园蛋椅 - 塑料
2 original Peter Ghyczy Garden Egg Chairs made in the DDR (East Germany) in May 1974.
They are red with originally yellow upholstery that received a dark grey cover (lightly stitched on) a few decades ago.
Both chairs show signs of wear, one of them has a broken backrest that was repared/reinforced with a steel bar back in the 90s. All blemishes can be seen on the photographs.
The chairs have been in the possession of my family since their purchase in 1974, they have been used until the 90s / early 2000s, then wrapped up in storage for the last 20 or so years.
The two chairs are for sale together, as a set.
The white coffee table in the pictures is given to the buyer for free, to complete the set. It was originally purchased for the chairs to complete the living room set. The table needs a replacement glass top, to be cut to size.
The set can be picked up in or shipped from Budapest, Hungary
