Afine Republic period (or shortly thereafter) enamel on copper cloisonné vase, of baluster shape, mounted on a carved wooden base and fitted with electric lamp mounts for a height of 33cm and weight of 1795g (sand filled for stability). Decorated in polychrome enamels within wire reserves to depict two dragons competing for a flaming pearl on a black ground. Condition: Very good, no damages or repairs. Minimal wear commensurate with age. Repair to the wooden base. This lot will be carefully packaged and sent by registered and insured mail.
