Paris, à la Librairie d'Education d'Alexis Eymery, 1821, 24° (13 x 9 cm), contemporary half-leather binding with gilt lines and titles on the spine, pp. 36 with paginated alphabetical (capital letters, lowercase letters, round, italic, etc.) and syllabic (with examples of syllable separation) plates, and four beautiful educational copperplate engravings (not paginated), mostly depicting rural activities described in the text ((Le Maréchal Ferrand, La Laiterie, Le Menuisier, etc.). This delightful booklet, authenticated by Eymery's signature (printed) on the verso of the title page, is absent from all consulted bibliographies and library catalogs (including BNF's), and can rightfully be considered a true rarity. Slight signs of wear to the binding with minimal rubbing at the hinges, worn upper cap; very light foxing inside. Overall, very well-preserved.
