Rodolphe Cattin was a young and talented artist back in 1984, when he met CEO of Longines, Walter Von Kaenel. He used the chance its been given and created his desings for fantastic watch cases. When the collection was ready, it was presented in a global seminar by Longines that brought together the brand’s international representatives in Hong Kong. The response was enthusiastic and when it came to naming this new collection, everyone insisted on “Rodolphe by Longines ”. Launched immediately, this adventure would last eight years, with approximately 60,000 watches sold per year. Here is a nice example of one of his works, in great condition. Watch has a box but unfortunately box has some wear of time ● Movement Condition - Interesting design of movement. When you look at the dial, you see hands, hour,minute and second. But second hand does not move because it is a fake second hand and is not attached to the movement. It is very clever and perfectly made that i first though watch is not running so almost would not buy it. Minute hand moves once every 20 or 30 seconds, that is another interesting detail of its movement. ● Dial Condition - Dial is nearly perfect condition, no visible faults ● Case Condition - Gold plated case and steel case back. Nearly perfect condition. All the plate remains like the first day. Please look shape of the crown, another detail that fits perfect with watch's shape ● Dimentions - 33.6mm without crown ● Glass - Glass has few stratches, did not replaced it cause looks like original glass and marks are hardly noticable ● Timekeeping - Keeps time ● Production Year - Probably from early 1990's ● Service History - Inspected by a professional and authenticity confirmed ● Shipping - Will be packed with care and shipped insuranced with fast carriers (UPS/FedEx) Usually arrives in 2-3 days.
