One of the many shots Richard Avedon took for the promotion of Marilyn Monroe in the 1959 comedy 'Some like it hot' The photo shoot took over a few days to complete and involved various props, and looks for Marilyn (her hair is styled differently in some of the shots), in some of the shots she is wearing her wedding ring, and in other she isn’t, and the style of ukulele changes a few times in other shots.
