Round pewter vase that was produced in 1933 by Sylvia Stave in a beautiful Art Deco design. Smooth design with horizontal stripes and decorative handles. Stylish and elegant! The vase is engraved on one side: "Från Tacksamma Elever," which translates from Swedish to "From Thankfull Students." On the other side, it's engraved, "A.G. 1933" which are the initials of the professor that got the vase as a gift. Model: 3540/3 Stamped: "CGH Garanterat Svenskt Tenn" The vase has some small signs of wear, i.e., age marks and some very small dents. Nothing serious, see photos. Lovely condition for a 91 years old designer item. Sylvia Rosa Agneta Stave (1908-1994) was a Swedish silversmith and illustrator who was active until 1940. After successfully exhibiting at the 1930 Stockholm Exhibition, she was appointed lead artist at Hallbergs Guldsmeds AB.
