Hand painted on wood. Origin - Bulgaria. The saints are depicted full-length, wearing ornate robes and crowns. Jesus is sitting on his mother's lap. Christ blesses with his right hand and holds a gospel in his left. The Mother of God points with her right hand to her son, which symbolizes the icon of the Guide. On both sides you can see St. Constantine and St. John, and in the upper part of the icon the archangels Michael and Gabriel are visible.
