Ihei Kimura Works Ihei Kimura Sogensha/1959/Japanese/260*353*10 Gendai Nihon Shashin Zenshu 1: Works of Ihei Kimura" is a collection of works by Ihei Kimura, one of the most famous photographers of the 20th century. This book is one of a total of nine collections of photographs published by Sogensha between 1958 and 1959, the first of which featured Ihei Kimura. Although it contains only 25 or so illustrations, it is very valuable in that it allows us to enjoy the master's representative works in "large format" "photogravure printing. In particular, "Ita Fence," a portrait of a horse's tail passing in front of a massive fence, and "Youth," a portrait of three young men who seem determined to change Meiji-era Japan from various perspectives, are included in this issue as testimony to the lifestyle and long history of this region, taken in Akita, Japan. As a fan, it is a must-see. Other works in the book include "Naha no Ichiba" (Naha's Market), "Watershed," "Sumida River," "Yokoyama Taikan," "Uemura Shoen," "Mrs. N," "Toujijo," and "Sonezaki Shinju" (Sonezaki's Love Affair).
