The bucket is the larger of the two sizes made in this pattern. Dating from the late 20th century, circa 1988, this is a hard to find model known as the Talisman/Chinese Lacquer, which refers to the colored handles, a beautiful piano black. A superb, premium quality piece to adorn bars or the most refined tables. Christofle is a goldsmithing and tableware company, founded in Paris in 1830 by Charles Christofle. The company is known for introducing electrolytic gilding and silvering to France in 1842. Today, the name Christofle evokes both the elegance of a bygone era and the concept of modern, innovative design.
