铜 刻有江户时代人物的铜火盆 - 24.2 cm (没有保留价)

A bronze brazier crafted by Hannya Kankei. Hannya Kankei, who apprenticed under his father, Nidai Kankei, and mastered the technique of casting twin molds. His skill has been recognized in various places. This brazier also depicts the lives of people before the Edo period through its sculptural details. The three-dimensional expressions of the people are very rich. They depict various scenes such as playing, calligraphy, reading hanging scrolls, and more. Originally used as a brazier, nowadays there aren't many opportunities to use braziers. In Japan, some people use it as a planter. It seems suitable for use as a flowerpot as well. Born in 1933 in Takaoka City. In 1950, he started assisting his father, Yoshiyoshi, in the family business, which continues to this day. In 1969, he was first selected for the 16th Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition. In 1971, he was first selected for the 1st Traditional Craft Japan Metalwork Exhibition. In 1973, he won the Japan Craft Association Award at the 3rd Traditional Craft Japan Metalwork Exhibition. In 1982, he won the Encouragement Award at the 12th Traditional Craft Japan Metalwork Exhibition. In 1983, he won the Encouragement Award again at the 13th Traditional Craft Japan Metalwork Exhibition. In 1985, he won the Asahi Shimbun Award at the 15th Traditional Craft Japan Metalwork Exhibition. In 1986, he created a replica of the National Treasure "Gold, Copper, and Tin Staff" at Zentsuji Temple, and also made a replica of the Zenboku kettle held by Shosai of Daikakuji Temple. In 2001, he replicated the "Sand-Flatting Lacquer Tray" from the Shosoin Treasure House. In 2005, he replicated the "Brass Nesting Bowl" from the Shosoin Treasure House.
