A fine collection of jewelry from the Sahel-region of Africa. The two bracelets with nice hammered decorations come from the north of Niger and were worn by the Touareg-people. Diam; 65 and 55 mm. Made of low-grade silver.
The three rings come from Mali, where they were worn by the Fulani herdsman in the north of this country. Two flat rings made from low-grade silver and copper. Dim. 25 and 26 mm. The large ring with pointed knob , made also of low-grade silver, is 30mm high. All pieces were collected in situ in the late 1990`s.
