名望帽子 - 米桑戈·马亚卡 - 矢香 - 刚果（金）
A very fine Yaka or Suku Chief's hat "misango mayaka", DR Congo, presumably made in the first half of the 20th century. Crafted with glass beads strung over a coiled basketry frame - the diameter of the circular part of the hat is approx 17.5 cm.
Some of the glass beads are missing and minor repairs have to be done to bring the hat back in shape.
A very similar hat can be found in the collection of the Dallas Museum of Art.
