A Chinese ge-type porcelain bowl. China, Qing dynasty. Rare model preserved in perfect condition!
Finely potted, ogee-shaped walls rising from a short foot to a foliate rim, applied overall with a greyish glaze suffused with a dense network of attractive black and grey crackle, the glaze stopping neatly above the footring, the base is glazed.
Daylight pictures included.
Dimensions: diameter – 13 cm; height – 5,1 cm. Weight – 199 g.
Provenance: private collection, Netherlands.
Conditions report: bowl in excellent condition. Small chip to the foot-rim only. No other damages visible! Minimal firing faults and use-related scratches to the glaze only. UV- and strong white light tested. Check pictures for details.
