A fine example of the famous Rolex Oyster Royal, silvered dial with a mixture of gilt arrow head batons and Arabic numerals with luminous dots matching alpha hands, signed at 12 o'clock "ROLEX OYSTER ROYAL" at 6 o'clock "SHOCK-RESISTING" base of dial marked "SWISS" dial nicely aged with superb patination. Manual wound Rolex calibre 710 movement in good working order. Stainless steel oyster case marked between lugs with model number 6244 and serial number 920097 interior of case back marked "ROLEX GENEVA SWISS PATENTED 6244 STAINLESS STEEL" exterior lightly engraved with initials "C.F.B." rare screw down oyster crown marked "OYSTER PATENT". Comes with its original guarantee dated 11th February 1955.
