Excellent large Hungarian Art Deco female wall mask ceramic figurine.
Handmade ceramic with bright color painting. Beautiful condition.
Mara Luta:
The artist, who worked from the early 1930s, had his first major exhibition at the 1st Hungarian Applied Art Exhibition in 1938, where he presented his works under the name Luta Ceramics. He regularly participated in exhibitions of the National Hungarian Applied Arts Society.
Literature : Many of Mara Luta's works are published in Sándor Fábián's book Hungarian Art Deco Ceramics on page 151.
