Mike Oldfield – QE2 "QE2" is the sixth studio album by British multi-instrumentalist and musician Mike Oldfield. It was released in 1980 and is named after the luxury cruise ship "Queen Elizabeth 2". The album marks a phase in Oldfield's career in which he further developed his style and incorporated various musical influences. The music on "QE2" is diverse and ranges from progressive rock to world music elements. The album contains nine tracks, including the titular "QE2," "Taurus 3," "Mirage," "Wonderful Land" and "Celt."
